But here&#8217;s a brief recap of what went on over the winter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oiling System\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.achillesmotorsports.com\/Achilles-Motorsports-BMW-Oil-Pan-Baffle-p\/11-am-opb.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Oil pan baffle<\/a> installed<\/li>\n<li>Oil pump nut locktited and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bimmerworld.com\/Engine\/Engine-Performance\/M50-Drilled-Oil-Pump-Nut_2.html\" target=\"_blank\">wired<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Power Steering System\n<ul>\n<li>New reservoir and hoses. Used a custom hose for the reservoir to cooling trumpet to eliminate the weak factory crimp connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New shocks\/struts\/springs\n<ul>\n<li>TCKline DA shocks\/struts with 450\/500# springs<\/li>\n<li>I got these used for a pretty good deal and had them rebuilt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Front subframe reinforcements installed<\/li>\n<li>Cooling System\n<ul>\n<li>New thermostat and housing<\/li>\n<li>New S54 Z3M radiator<\/li>\n<li>Spal electric fan<\/li>\n<li>Custom ducting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New belt tensioner (converted to hydraulic) and belt<\/li>\n<li>Deleted all A\/C components, washer, other misc bits<\/li>\n<li>Thinned wiring harness to remove unneeded wiring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m getting really bad about documenting what i&#8217;m doing and even updating the blog.
